There is something about a May wedding in Essex that always feels so full of promise. The days are longer, the gardens start to bloom, and the soft spring light makes everything look that little bit more romantic. Katie and Mike chose the beautiful Warren Estate for their wedding, and it could not have been a more perfect match.
The Warren Estate, with its sweeping grounds and elegant barns, offers the best of both worlds – natural countryside charm with a refined finish. You can find out more about the venue here: The Warren Estate Weddings.
The couple opted for an outdoor ceremony, framed by soft pink draping and surrounded by their closest friends and family. There was such a sense of anticipation as Katie walked down the aisle. Standing beneath the rustic oak structure, with the gardens of The Warren behind them, the two exchanged their vows in front of their guests.
It was an emotional moment, full of quiet joy, and the setting couldn’t have been more idyllic for capturing natural, heartfelt photographs.

Katie looked beautiful in her gown from Essex Bridal Outlet, a romantic off-shoulder design with delicate lace detail. Mike’s sharp navy suit, complemented by a blush tie and buttonhole, tied in perfectly with their springtime colour palette.
One of the most memorable parts of their day was when their beloved dog joined the celebrations, dressed for the occasion in a smart little bow tie – a true guest of honour!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and music from the talented Joanna Power Music, whose live performance created such a warm atmosphere. The barn at The Warren was beautifully styled with blooms from Little Meadow Blooms, and as the evening drew in, the celebration continued with a lively photo booth experience from Lunar Shot – a huge hit with the guests.
Their videographer, Wedding in Motion, worked alongside me throughout the day to make sure every look, laugh and happy tear was captured forever.

The Warren is one of those venues that has so many photographic opportunities. The gardens and open spaces are wonderful for relaxed couple portraits, and the barn interiors provide a lovely, warm atmosphere. As a photographer, it’s a joy to have this combination of natural beauty and thoughtful architecture to work with.
Katie and Mike’s May wedding at The Warren Estate was a celebration filled with love, personal touches and the happiest of memories. It was an honour to be part of such a special day.

I believe the best images are created when couples feel relaxed and truly present. By working quietly and intuitively, I allow moments to unfold naturally, capturing the atmosphere, emotion, and subtle details that define your day.
My work is for couples who value experience over excess, and imagery that feels timeless, honest, and quietly refined.
